From the Swindon Advertiser, first published Friday 25th Jul 2003.
WESTBURY'S resident pet detective is on the look out for a run-away dog.
Tony Hall set up Pet Search and Reunite last month in response to the large number of pets going missing in the area.
Now he is searching for a terrier called Bertie who has been missing from his owner in St Cleves since February.
Mr Hall is concentrating his search in Horningsham and Longleat after a number of sightings.
He said: "Bertie is a peppered coloured terrier but by now may have got dirty, if anyone sees him don't call his name because it will scare him off."
Mr Hall is also hunting down the whereabouts of a rare Siamese blue point cat worth over £500 which was lost in Codford.
Any sightings should be reported to PETSAR on (01373) 301223.
